Gastritis Antrum: So our stomach has two openings. The 'top' opening connects it to food pipe from where it receives partially digested food and the ' lower' opening is called antrum- which connects to intestines -- to dispense food after it has done its work on it. Inflammation of the lower part or antrum is called ' gastritis antrum' several reasons--- infectious ( most common), medications etc.
