Yes: Strokes/ heart attacks have reported with estrogen and/or progestin therapy. Some studies showed a slight increase in risks of strokes while others indicate reduced risks. Vivelle (estradiol) Dot: Vivelle is a transdermal estradiol. While oral estrogen is known to increase unstable plaque risk, and therefore the risk for heart attack and stroke, transdermal should not.

Hi, I was given 10 mg celexa for anxiety, I felt I was a bit better , less heart palpitations and intrusive thoughts, then I started taking Estradiol 1mg and I felt like I had more anxiety, can this be the case? or is it just the celexa causing it?
