Warts: Warts are very common but other things can cause a rough spot on your wrist, such as a seborrheic keratosis. See a derm and they can tell you what it is and what would work to take it off.

In such a case it's…: Best to have a doc examine the lesion. May be a simple wart, that can be frozen off, but might also be an early skin cancer from sun damage. So in-person inspection is very important to prevent nasty consequences if ignored. Be ready to tell doc when it appeared, if it's grown, if it hurts, if it bleeds, if it itches. Good history helps nail the diagnosis.
