A member asked:

Why do i get depressed the day after a night of drinking? is this normal for everybody?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Common: I'd call it common, not "normal". Intoxication is dehydrating, saps the body of energy, and is often associated with sleep deprivation. With excessive drinking, there can be a hangover, which is mild alcohol withdrawal. There could also be depression for psychological reasons: how you feel about your night of drinking, etc. Start with water, good nutrition, and moderation (or sobriety).
