If it was recently: Removed surgically, wear a band-aid for a few days. If it fell off by itself atraumatically it is fine, with trauma keep it covered.

After 7 days, yes : Depends how soon after. If the nail was extracted just today then, no. But after about 7 days of proper care, then showering would be fine. Be mindful, if you see redness, swelling, a red streak, heat or any drainage, then you must follow up immediately before the condition worsens.
