Follow instructions: Follow the post operative instructions exactly. Most problems following wisdom tooth surgery are related to patient's failure to comply with the post-operative instructions. Dry sockets are a perfect example. Rest, ice, lots of fluid, antiinflammatory medication. Did i mention rest, ice, fluids ?. Follow the rules, and you should be just fine. Most patients do very well. Good luck.

See your dentist: If you need them removed and are age 32 it is important to determine why they need to be removed and what possible complications could occur. Only a dentist who has thoroughly evaluated you can tell you this information.
