No shots for kiwi: An oral reaction to kiwi can be related to a ragweed pollen allergy. Controlling that allergy will ameliorate your symptoms to kiwi. If you get a systemic reaction to kiwi, you need to avoid it all together. It may be related to a latex allergy too. So shots will only help you with the first case, by controlling your ragweed allergy.
