Strep throat and allergic to antibotics. i'm in so much pain, what else can i take to soothe the pain?

Need antibiotics: People who have tests that show they have strep throat need antibiotics to cure their infection and to prevent a complication called rheumatic fever, which can occur with untreated group a streptococcus infections. You need to be tested to make sure you do have strep throat, then your provider needs to find an antibiotic that works against strep that you are not allergic to.
