Neither: Cervical dysplasia shouldn't cause excessive bleeding, and most hormonal forms of birth control result in less bleeding, not more. On the other hand, certain types of birth control may cause irregular bleeding, especially at first (for example: depo-provera, nexplanon, Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud).
