Nose drops: I would use a Normal Saline nose drop which is over the counter (little noses, ayr nose drops, ocean nose drops)- it works best within 3 days- if your child is still having symptoms after 3 days, she should be checked by her pediatrician.

Several things: The first months are troubled by narrow nasal passages .Exposure to dust, fragrances, smoke & other irritants make it worse.Baby tries to flush these out of the nose with mucous but this often ends as congestion & produces rattling with breathing. The best rx is washing out the nose with saline & suctioning the remainder. Eliminate irritants from babies environment & this will happen less.
