Depends on cause: If it is acute then oral decongestants and brief afrin. If chronic there are many causes from allergy, nasal polyps, deviated septum, turbinate hypertrophy. Allergy often responds to nasal steroids sprays and antihistamine/ decongestant. Polyps may respond to steroid sprays but may need removal. The other causes require surgery. Consult with ENT doctor.
