Nipple drainage: The simple answer to your question is "no. It is not normal, but it is very common. Usually it occurs only for a short period--weeks to a month. It can also be induced or promoted by breast and nipple stimulation during sex. If the nipple discharge continues they will usually recommend a blood test for prolactin (which causes this) and possibly a mammogram.
