See a doctor: See a doctor asap to get a diagnosis. You need an exam and maybe some test. Fibromyalgia usually causes pain everywhere, but especially bilateral upper back, chest, elbows, wrists, buttocks, hips and or knees.

“Healing Back Pain”: Written by a physiatrist (pain and physical rehabilitation), John Sarno, M.D. wrote this fabulous best seller a long time ago, and I frequently recommend it to the psychiatric patients that I treat who have fibromyalgia as a diagnosis. I do hesitate with some patients who are so invested in having the diagnosis that challenging them to look inwardly may offend them. But it really is a must read
