Common after Mogen: Scar line after a mogen clamp circumcision tends to be further torards base of penis than after gomco clamp, plastibell or "sleeve resection" circumcision. Should not be a problem unless penis curves downward with erection. Can be corrected by penoplasty if too much skin was removed. Fortunately this is rarely case. Consult pediatric urologist if u r still concerned.

No specific location: With a mogen clamp circumcision, a v shaped scar more proximal along the shaft is common. With other devices, the scar is more distal and circular. Regardless, the scar location is irrelevant if the phallus heals well, without redundancy of the prepuce, without entrapment or adhesions.
