Difficult to answer: No sure what damage a 22 yr old would have unless you had a major traumatic accident or fall. If you are referring to MRI results, these findings are common since MRI pick up a great deal of information. You clinical exam and history need to be put together with your MRI findings to give you the best answer.

Need more info: I'm not sure exactly what you are asking regarding l4. Is this a problem with the bones at L4 or the L4 nerve? Regarding the second part of your question, the higher the injury generally the worse the problem. So a cervical injury is worse than thoracic which is worse than lumbar. Please give me more details and i will help if i can.
