No: A twisted colon, called a volvulus, is not related to sexual trauma.

Referencing IBS: I am assuming that by "twisted colon" your brother's doctor was referring to colon spasms as an indicator of irritable bowel syndrome (ibs). In patients with ibs, a history of sexual, physical, or emotional abuse is reported more often than in those without ibs. Also, patients with ibs are more likely to report greater lifetime (childhood stress is particularly important) & daily stressful events.
