Ask for a referral : To a urologist if you're concerned about the appearance. The mogen's been around since 1954. There were some issues about damage to the glans penis because it doesn't allow visualization, but not about over-stretching the foreskin. As long as it doesn't cause a painful erection & the anatomy of the genitalia is normal, i can't think how it can hurt him. I'd like to know what you find out.
