I'm 4 dpo today and my cervix feels firm and closed but it feels much smaller than it normally does, i'm trying to conceive what does this mean?

Don't worry: Checking your cervix position and consistency is not very useful when trying to conceive. If you have regular periods you can use an ovulation predictor kit to time intercourse around ovulation - it's better than checking cervical mucus changes or basal body temperature.
