Not really: You can develop skin irritation at the injection site but there are not any serious problems found with the vaccine.

Shingrix: With Shingrix shot arm soreness as well as possible mild swelling & redness at injection site often occur. Other possible side effects include: nausea/ abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, fever, shivering or muscle pain. “About 1 out of 6 people who got Shingrix experienced side effects that prevented them from doing regular activities.” REF: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/shingles/public/shing
