Perioral flaking: Not all skin flaking is due to contact dermatitis. Conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis & "ringworm" have flaky skin. A dermatologist can better determine a cause by examining the area as well as the flakes to r/o fungus, etc. & provide treatment.
