Sounds very normal.: This is a very busy time in your baby's mouth! between now and age 24 months your baby will go from having these 2 teeth to having all 24 primary or baby teeth. Saliva helps to keep the gums lubricated during this time and a little bib will help with the mess. It is especially important during this time to develop good, regular habits by cleaning the teeth immediately after feeding.

Yes: Babies are not given a social conscience at birth and drool when they please. They care less if it would bother an observer.As they age they spend less time mouthing fingers and pacifiers and develop more control of their own spit.
