A member asked:

I take trazadone for sleep. i have a special occasion coming up, and i would like to enjoy some champagne. how can i do both?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not recommended: It is not recommended. Alcohol may interact with the trazadone causing slowed respirations, dizziness, falls, and slow heart rate. You should not take trazadone unless you really need it that day. Depending on how much alcohol you drink, that may be enough to get you to sleep.
