A member asked:

What causes a strong tight sensation on the jaw? can it be my sinuses? also i do bite the inside of my mouth a lot .

A doctor has provided 1 answer

TMJ : Tightness and stiffness is often due to an overuse of the jaw muscles that results in a build up of Lactic Acid in the muscles which results in a stiffness and soreness. You should see a dentist to evaluate your jaw and this can be treated very successfully once the proper diagnosis of your specific problem is made.
