Likely not: Your question reveals a dull pain on lateral neck, then 4 days later a cluster of blisters in middle of the chest. Shingles is caused by the same virus as chicken pox, and lays dormant and usually strikes elderly people with weakened immune systems. Pain normally referred to as intense, and the blistering would not cross the midline, but be affecting a stripe unilaterally called a dermatome.
