YES: Hpv infection has no symptoms, it's transmitted sexually, there is no test to detect infection in men. Hpv 16 is associated with penile, anal and head/neck cancer in men. Best protection is abstinence, but condoms can protect at times. Another option is vaccination. There are 2 vaccines available. Talk to your doctor. Hpv 16 can ca use cervical cancer in women, not uterine. Hope this helps.

Likely had it alredy: Most of the population is already infected. If u had unprotected sex then you likely are a carrier. Uterine cancer is not caused by hpv, but cervical cancer is, so you may be mistaken on her diagnosis? It has not been related to penile or male gu cancers. It is associated with head and neck cancers, although with a more favorable prognosis than those unrelated to hpv. Oral sex transmits.
