Going in for first time surgery. any advice on gallbladder removal?

Talk to your...: Surgeon. Review your concerns. Generally a short outpatient surgical procedure with 1-4 small incisions. Usually mild discomfort for a few days. No heavy exercise for a few weeks after surgery. Can eat soon after surgery starting with small light foods. Generally a very safe surgery.
