Antidiuretic hormone: ADH (vasopressin) acts on kidney tubules to control amount of water to be reabsorbed after initial blood filtration by kidney glomeruli (mini-filters). ADH (vasopressin) is produced by pituitary gland with more produced at night to reduce urine output & less by day. Urination controlled by nervous system & not by hormones.
