Is using natural galanthamine for dream control or lucid dreaming dangerous?
2 doctor answers • 3 doctors weighed in

Dr. R Sangal answered
Sleep Medicine 43 years experience
I would not: Galantamine (galantamine (galantamine hydrobromide) hydrobromide) increases cholinergic activity in the brain, which can cause more dreams. Like any medicine, galantamine (galantamine hydrobromide) can have side effects. I would not recommend taking it to cause more vivid dreams.

The stored cystine is poorly soluble and crystallizes within the lysosomes of many cell types, leading to widespread tissue and organ damage.
