See a specialist.: You have a problem with the jaw joint(s) commonly called tmj. The best thing to do is see a dentist specially trained to treat this type of problem. My recommendation is to google "trudenta dentists" enter your zip code and see if one is near enough to you to go to. If not, google TMJ specialist and see what is available.

Check with your DDS: A locked jaw is dislocated. Check with your dentist to see if you can get help there, or ask for a referral to someone that knows how to treat these problems. See if you can get conservative help first and avoid surgery if you can treat this conservatively. A splint and physical therapy are reversible and may help find a better functional position. Do this sooner rather than later.
