A member asked:

Why is injecting a tuberculosis antigen under the skin not recommended for diagnosing tuberculosis in aids patients?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No reaction: In advanced aids, the skin test will not be positive, we call it anergy, as the cells required to produce the reaction are deficient.
