MAC versus MAC TB: Hi i would believe this answer may vary from different parts of the world. I would be very interested to know what prompts this question. But, here in my part of the world we worry about both equally but I have seen in the past more mac. I rarely have to deal with this though now due to early and effective treatment with HIV medications.

Both are common : Most of the mai cases occur with low CD4 counts. Tb not necessarily.
