Green tea can be : Beneficial when used in conjunction with nutrition plan ; exercise. There are many, many herbal teas- don't know of others that have weight loss effect (but would need to check each individually).A study by maastricht university (holland) noted green tea has catechins ; caffeine w inhibition of o-methyl- transferase ; phosphodiesterase which effects thermogenesis ; fat oxidation.
