Several thoughts: Play detective. Different shaving creams/lotions may provide a better "skin conditioner" before you shave, making for less red spots. Shaving after a hot bath/shower. Where your pores are open, is more conducive to a "clean shave" as well. Invest in a good razor that does not irritate you. You may need a razor for "sensitive skin." hope this helps.
