Several, Be Careful: Acei, arb agents: best track record for slowing progression renal failure, but be careful: also ?k+ output & can drive k+ ?too high; thus only use with care. Carvedilol has next best track record, especially for ? chf, even improving chf, especially if combined with acei or arb agents & lipoproteins (not cholesterol) optimized. Norvasc (amlodipine) probably next best, no ? mortality; also no ? in human trials.
