Yes: Yes. Acupuncture can expedite healing and markedly reduce pain levels for stress fractures. In the military population i work with - it can reduce the period of time required to return personnel to full duty status.

Yes and no. : May help with pain if you. Believe in it But the fracture itself will still take time to heal

Can a walking shoe/boot help metatarsalgia? (No stress fracture - MRI confirmed.) Tried everything else - PT, RICE, meds - still no relief. Ouch.
I have foot pain on the lateral side of my foot around the fourth and fifth metatarsals when i'm pushing off. Walking barefoot or on flip flops relieves it while wearing sneakers aggravates it. Could it be some kind of neuroma or stress fracture?
Would doing acupuncture cure stress and anxiety symptoms?
