The diastasis means: that the muscles and fascia that hold in Ur abdominal organs has failed & any valsalva maneuver will stress the remaining thin fascia & the peritoneal lining is stretched, & the peritoneum is very sensitive 2 stretch & resultant pressure. Lifting, sneezing, coughing can all cause symptoms. If interfering with Ur ADLS & quality of life, have it repaired.
