Scoliosis definitely: Can lead to back pain. I do not associate a burning sensation as part of the process.

It can: Yes scoliosis can cause this. Symptomatic treatment with heat/ice/massage/stretching is usually adequate. If not see a spine physiatrist or surgeon to discuss further.
