Time or exam: It can take a few months to see the breast revert back to "normal" after breastfeeding. I recommend you see your gynecologist for a clinical breast exam. You will want to make sure there is not a mass present. Unless there is an obvious lump, breast imaging may not be much help. You can try massaging the breast to express the remaining milk.
