I have nephrostomy tube placed in my right kidney. is it normal to have pain in tha side when inhaling? how much pain is normal in that kidney

Nephrostomy: The kidney most definitely moves up and down with respirations. It is likely that this is the source of your discomfort with deep breaths. I would encourage you to to discuss it with your urologist in the event that there is a more serious problem with the nephrostomy position or less likely, with the right lung.
