Urinary Infection: Each kidney infectin or as we call any urinary tract i nfection needs to be treated with appropriate antibiotics, and if it is successfully treated the outcome is good. But having said that if you do not treat and it ends up with complications like sepsis meaning infection spreadind to the blood, then it can effect the feyus. So each kidney or bladder infection during pregnancy need to be treated.

Yes Take Antibiotics: If you have a bladder infection that has ascended to your kidney you have a very serious infection. The bacteria can enter the blood stream and cause sepsis-this can lead to shock and sometimes death. Also high fever isn't good for baby for extended periods. Premature labor & delivery. So get evaluated and treated with pregnancy safe antibiotics immediately. You may need to be hospitalized.

Yes, risk of early: Onset of labor and baby being born premature. Hope your OB dr. Is aware. Ob might consult with an infectious disease specialist if the infecting bacteria are not sensitive to an antibiotic which would be harmless to the baby. Good luck.
