Pain: Lolap. Your kidneys are not located in the lower back. From your symptoms you may have a myriad of causes, including a herniation in your back, hip bursitis. Sit and cross your right leg over your left thigh, if the pain is recreated go see your doctor about a piriformis muscle injury or hip bursitis. If standing up and twisting or bending recreates your pain, see your doctor about a disc bulge.
