Many reasons: This is a good question, but one which you know the answer to (even if you don't think you do.) it may help to work with a therapist on this, so that you can gradually move towards the answers you're seeking. Also this will help do what you need to, to free yourself of these obsessions. You'll always be linked by having your daughter together, but you need resolution for your own life.

Shared bond: You may have an addictive relationship. It sounds like you have not worked through the end of the relationship. It can be more difficult when you have something that ties you together like a child.
