Right upper abd Pain: Gallstones can be asymptomatic for years and require no therapy. If symptomatic you may experience characteristic symptom of intense pain in the upper right side of the abdomen, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting, and possibly referred pain in between shoulder blades or below right shoulder. If gallstones are symptomatic you may need to remove your gallbladder surgically (cholecystectomy).
