A member asked:

I heard that b vitamins speed up heart rate similar to caffeine. could this be bad for your heart?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally no: B vitamins affect metabolism and nervous system function but do not have alpha/beta effects that is the cause of heart rate up/down with certain meds/herbs.
