Depends.: Is it a wisdom tooth? If so, possible extraction. Is it a small break? Possibly a bonded tooth-colored filling. Is it a large break? Possible root canal treatment with a subsequent post &build up of the tooth (foundation) with a crown (cap, porcelain) placed over the remaining tooth structure for support. Or the tooth removed and a dental implant (metal root replacement) placed & crown.

Varies: Can range from a simple filling, to crown, to extraction. It depends on how much the tooth is damaged. Often a broken tooth may have underlying decay. Best answer is to see a dentist and have an x-ray of tooth to evaluate situation.

It varies...: This all depends on how much of the tooth is broken, on how well the bone support is for the tooth, on the condition of adjacent and opposing teeth, and on the general health of a patient. A broken tooth may be repaired with a filling, a crown, or a root canal procedure and a crown. In other cases extraction may be required.

Depends: Depends on the severity of the fracture. Broken tooth can be repaired with a filling or crown. If the tooth is broken badly it may need to be pulled out.
