Calm: It all depends on the cause of the headache. Most headaches respond well to relaxation, quiet and low light environment. Light massage (accupressure) can also be of benefit. If your headache is chronic or much more severe than usual, you should contact your primary care doctor.

Options: I agree with dr. Linnell. If you have chronic headaches please seek out standard western medicine evaluation first. Acupressure can be beneficial for headache relief (depending on type of headache). I think you will find that chinese scalp acupunture and auricular (ear) acupuncture to more beneficial. Talk with your physician about these excellent options.

Could be TMJ/TMD: Need more info as far as symptoms, duration, location, triggers. A TMD/TMJ issue may also contribute. See a Dr.
