Hmm: I have not seen it used to delay a cycle but have seen it used for excessive menstrual bleeding.

Maybe, but unlikely: Acupuncture works by influencing the nervous system. It is possible to affect your period with acupuncture, however you should see your gyn to rule out all other causes.
