Multiple causes: Delayed cycles are usually due to delayed ovulation. This is most commonly caused by stress or underlying ovulation disorders. Pregnancy that is early and not detected is another reason. If delayed cycles are common for you, then ovulation disorder is likely and you should seek help because aside form fertility these issues also relate to chronic health in various ways and should be addressed.
