A member asked:

Ok, other than herpes, which isnt possible, what could cause little blisters that developed right after using monistat be? again, its not herpes

Call MD back: I am assuming your physician prescribed monistat, that being the case he or she should be made aware of the situation as they have your full medical history. Did you know that oral herpes (type i and very distinct from genital, type ii) is extremely common, most (50-80%) people carry the virus dormant in their facial nerves and a recent infection can trigger oral herpes manifestations. Good luck!
