Foot pain: The first thought I have is that you sustained a fractured metatarsal, possibly a stress fracture. Often xrays will not reveal the fracture initially and serial xrays or a bone scan may be necessary. See you doctor or podiatrist for further tests. This is not an uncommon problem in athletes such as yourself.
